I've been out of town for the last 4 weekends, and so this week Andrew decided it was time to get "back on track" and found a recipe from the Congo. The one small problem was that it turned out that he made the same mistake that lots of other people make in the that mistook Congo for it's notorious, much bigger sibling the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). But even though they are 2 distinct countries, we couldn't find any clarification on whether or not their cuisine is different so we stuck with what he found.

We ate Poulet a la Moambe - basically a peanut chicken stew. Andrew and Ruth both liked it. Jack found it tolerable, but for me it brought back memories of the awful meal we had from Benin and I could barely eat the tiny bit I took. The combination of chicken and peanut is not one I enjoy. Next up is Costa Rica!
