Nasi "nasty" Katok is a meal that they eat in Brunei. It consists of deep fried chicken thighs, rice and a sauce called Sambal. The reason it wasn't my favourite is the fact that the Sambal had a very pungent onion flavour that over powered any other flavour, it also wasn't really a sauce, more of a mush. Apparently this is a take-out food in Brunei.

This is Sambal. It's supposed to be more red in colour, but we had to use green chilis instead of red, so it didn't really look quite right.

Some fun facts we learned were: Brunei is the fifth wealthiest country in the world with a public debt of ZERO. Brunei only gained its independence in 1984 from the British. It's participated in every summer Olympics since 1996. Brunei and I have something in common, we both haven't won an olympic medal. They have won 4 bronze medals in the Asian games though.
